Microsoft Takes Your Privacy Seriously

20130422-192751.jpgMicrosoft has started a new ad campaign touting the benefits of the Do Not Track feature of Internet Explorer.
The new print, TV, and online ads will appear through the end of June, and were created as a result from findings on customers perceptions over Internet Privacy. Their research revealed that 45% of consumers feel they have little or no control over the personal information companies gather about them.

Microsoft also launched a new privacy education resources,, which includes a quiz to find out your “privacy type” and then learn how to manage privacy settings.
